Hisham was pleasant at first, but then when the coupon presented was questioned, he clearly had his pat spiel he gives everyone about the fine print of the coupon because it’s obviously an argument he probably has every day. I understood about the coupon but was simply asking him to explain something else for clarification and he continued on his pat spiel, just repeating himself louder and louder, getting more and more rude, rather than actually listening and answering the very simple question. He was ready for an argument even if you weren’t giving him one! (Look at How argumentative he is even here with anyone that has the slightest issue!) Very frustrating and very rude in the end! They simply need to update the fine print of the coupon to be more straightforward so he wouldn’t have to be ready to argue! Go anywhere else for a smog check. Definitely not worth it!

I brought my car here for a smog check because I purchased it out of state and needed the certification for California registration. The vehicle is a new Italian exotic supercar with less than 3,000 miles. Their posted price list showed approximately $70 for cars, but after the technician pulled the car in and connected the software, he quoted me $130. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told the higher price was because it is a "special car." There is no technical reason for a nearly 100% markup based on the make of the vehicle. Furthermore, the technician ran the full software test immediately instead of checking if the monitors were ready first. Because the car is so new and hadn't been driven much, it did not pass. I was asked to return two more times, and both times I was told it was not ready due to one specific parameter, EVAP. Upon checking California smog regulations, I found that specific monitor is not required to be in a "ready" state for a vehicle to pass. It appeared the process was being deliberately extended to collect re-inspection fees. I eventually went to M&M Smog a few miles away. They followed their posted price list exactly and passed the car without

I took my 32 year old car with only 9000 miles on it in for a smog and an oil change. He charged me $119.75 for the smog and &130.00 for the oil change. He says it did not pass smog. Then says put some injector cleaner in it and drive it for 200 miles. Turns out my car has a dual sump oil pan and he only drained the front plug and not the back one still leaving 4 quarts of oil in my car, then pours 4 more quarts into it and tells me my dip stick doesn't read correctly. So now I just drove 200 miles with twice as much oil as needed. After putting the correct amount of oil in the car it easily passed smog. He deserves every 1 star rating he gets. Makes me wonder how many other cars are driving around with 8 quarts of oil in their car.....Don't trust this guy for anything... RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY: You didn't go far enough back in your records, the "work" was done on 3/30/26 - your invoice #35747. I stood there and watched you remove the front plug of the sump while you failed to remove the second plug, leaving a substantial amount of oil in the oil pan and claiming it was a faulty dipstick. We have been taking our cars here for a few years now. Owner is super friendly, helpful when you have questions and get the job done quickly. We go on weekdays and have never waited more than a few minutes. Price is also quite competitive.

I’ve been coming to this smog check shop every year for two of my older cars, and the owner has always been straightforward, honest, and helpful. The process is always smooth, quick, and stress-free. It’s rare to find a shop you can truly trust, and this is one of them. Highly recommend if you want honest service and peace of mind. My car is white WRX 5D . Thank you again
